Unsurprisingly, Royal and Eva (our cats) aren't fans of Freddie (our child).
Where they once had our place to themselves, they now have to share with a loud, unpredictable and increasingly fast-moving toddler.
As a result, Eva has taken to hiding upstairs all day, while Royal has charmed our neighbours who live across the road and spends as much time as he can at theirs.
Yogi and I used to be devoted cat owners but between work, childcare and everything else, standards have slipped.
We often feel bad, but we're also both too tired to do much about it.
